Default Where do you think EMS as a profession is headed?

Where do you think EMS as a profession is headed? What major changes do you coming in the future?

I dont know what to say to this question. If Medicare has their war, we will go away. If we don't start standing up as a profession and being recognized as a profession, we will go nowhere. With all the new technology and the new equipment and advancements and training that we are going through, it is high time that we are recognized. If we keep working at it, we will see our profession being recognized as a leader in the medical field.
